Become a Member of CACE

CACE is a membership community built by and for the senior leadership of Chicago’s human service organizations. Our members include the CEOs and Executive Directors of leading nonprofit agencies, along with select senior leaders such as program officers, program directors, and human resources executives. Together, we work to strengthen the ecosystem of human services through collaboration, shared learning, and a commitment to measurable impact.

Membership Qualifications

Organizations eligible for CACE membership demonstrate:

  • Leadership in the human services sector as a mission-driven, nonprofit enterprise.
  • Significant scope and reach, reflected in program capability, community impact, and organizational effectiveness.
  • A data-driven culture, committed to quality, accountability, and the use of outcome metrics to inform decisions and improve services.
  • Alignment with CACE’s core values, including collaboration, transparency, and a shared commitment to strengthening Chicago’s human services network.

Who Participates in CACE

Membership is organizational, with CEOs/Executive Directors serving as the primary representatives. Member organizations may also engage additional senior staff in select CACE programs, peer groups, and professional development opportunities.

How to Explore Membership

Organizations interested in learning more are encouraged to connect directly with a member of the CACE Membership Committee. CEOs/Executive Directors are invited to schedule an introductory conversation or attend an upcoming Membership Orientation Session.
